My turbos on my HP9000/G50 w/ 5.02 OnLine just show the turbos as "aborted" with no error message. I talked to Informix and they told me about Bug#23325 and Bug#24778, which involve memory leaks when comparing smallints with chars. Any time your code uses the automatic conversion, they malloc a variable and never release it. Also affects inserts of smallint into chars & vice versa. Informix has ***fixed*** it in 5.03UC1, but it's not available on any platform. ***grin*** Joe -- =========================================================================== jlumbley@netcom.com (Joe Lumbley) BancTec Service Corportation 214-450-9896 Dallas, Texas Watch for my _INFORMIX DBA SURVIVAL GUIDE_ in Fall '94 from Prentice Hall! ===========================================================================
