The 'exit' you describe means cutting the connection between reflection and unix. This is like jumping out of a driving car instead of parking the car. (and that isn't very wise either...) The shell is killed and so is the running application. You can help your users to make a simple macro in Reflection so the can logoff properly. They just have to click that button (witch in turn sends the needed key strokes) Daulat Ladak heeft geschreven in bericht <01bd5372$f8d30cc0$2969a8c0@dladak.aracnet.net>... >Hi >I have SCO 5.00 and Informix-SE 5.06, on the server. >For the workstation we have Windows 95 PCs with Reflection software to >connnect to the Unix server using TCP/IP. >Whenever a user does not exit from the Informix application properly ( with >exit, exit) >and instead just uses the x at the right had corner to exit the Unix >session, we have memory problems on the server and a core is created.
