Generally the reason you want to create your own runner is that you want to load in some C functions of your own. For these functions to be accessible to 4gl, you need to tell the interpreter that they're there. You do that by filling them into a data structure named usrcfuncs. A blank copy of the usrcfuncs structure is in ~informix/etc/fgiusr.c This is all explain in chapter 1 of the 4gl reference (1-71 thru 1-75 in my edition). -- Harry Bochner -- bochner@das.harvard.edu
