Re: validating a date in hstools?

I seem to have missed the original question here. But how I do it is to enter the date into a string, convert the string to a date, and then back to a string. If the original string and the results of the 2 converts are the same then the field was correctly entered as a date. This technique also works for vaidating numeric input!
