We have developed a Form Recognition software (named TopForm) which recognizes forms with field zones on it and save the information in databases. We have impemented the ODBC to support a wider range of databases in our product. The Form recognition software stores the data on-line. The result of the implementation was very slow. We are recognizing at speed of approximatly 50-100 forms per minute. When trying using ODBC the speed was reduced down to one page per minute. Now we changed this support and we save the information in our private DBF file, but allowing the user to export via ODBC. Meir
