I have not looked at CGI/Informix but it must have a compile script or makefile?!? Anyway ESQL/C works just like a UNIX "C" compiler, so: esql -o executablename sourcename.ec .... Just type esql with no args to see further options like static linking, creating shared libraries, etc. Art S. Kagel
