Q: archive-tapesize OL 5.08+7.24

Hello! We use Online 5.08+7.24 with Digital-UX 3.2D on Alpha-Servers with Tape TLZ09 (DAT, max. 120m, DDS2) If we use a DDS2/120m DAT-Tape with 4 GB uncompressed and 8 GB compressed capacity. (2:1 ratio for the max hardware compression, in our tape-manual). Is it correct to set the LTAPESIZE to 6 GB, means 6,291,456 kB * 90% = 5,662,310 kB to put the raw-devices-data on the tape? I think a hardware-compression-rate of 1,5:1 is possible for backups with tbtape, right? Any helpfully suggestions/hints for us? Thks Andreas Bettin / Germany
