Calvin, The Windows message "Can not find pbxxx050.dll" would occur if PowerBuilder directly tried to access this DLL. However, it has been my experience that PowerBuilder checks for the appropriate database interface before trying to access it and generates its own message. Once PowerBuilder's database interface DLL is called, it (or, at least, most of them) calls the database's dll's without further checking; therefore your "Cannot find xxx.dll" message would likely appear in the event that the DBMS's client interface is missing. -- Daryl E.
