[Q] Redundant Calculations

Is informix engine capable of detecting redundant calculations. e.g. I have 3 integer fields f1,f2,f3 in my table schema. My select statement looks something like this - SELECT SUM(f1) + SUM(f2), SUM(f1) + SUM(f2) FROM <table> WHERE ... GROUP BY ... My needs are different but in initial stage i have to do this processing. My question is - Will SUM(f1) + SUM(f2) be done twice or only once.
