Kendricks > kcheryl@notes.heb.com or pgcz@heb.com > The obvious question is: Is the Informix-STAR product up and running on the OnLine 5.x node? Does "ps -ef | grep sqlexecd" return anything? The default service name used in OnLine 5.x was sqlexec. The default service name used in OnLine 7.x was turbo. Perhaps you need two entries in your $SYSTEMDIR\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\services file of your client machine? One for turbo (to connect to OnLine 7.x), and one for sqlexec (to connect to OnLine 5.x)? Alternatively or you might wish to make sure that both your OnLine 7.x and OnLine 5.x are configured to use the same service name (sqlexec for example). -- Regards, Walter S.
