US-Chicagoland Business Analysts 50K-70K This is a liaison position requiring external support with a significant portion of the responsibilities to include interaction with IS and the Company's operating areas, as well as customers, vendors, business partners and consultants external to the Company. Client contact on a daily basis could be 60-70% during Pre-Sales and Design phase, 50% on Implementation Phase and down to 10-20% in Post-implementation. The length of projects is approximately 2-6 months with travel=30% . Business Analysts are assigned specific areas of the country providing a consistency of service . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of systems and programming experience, 2+ years as an Analyst, thorough knowledge of internal products, services and procedures. Additionally, 5+ years of proven LANs experience at the topology level and host to host applications(WANs). Experience of 3-6 years in both PC and mainframe systems is required. Participation in all phases of system development, modification, and support of business systems in compliance with IS standards The ideal candidates will have 6+ years in Systems development, 3+ years of C/C++ in Borland, 2 years in Windows development, exposure to LS2 and COBOL. Several years of relational databases and 5+ years of PC, LAN and communications experience with significant exposure to formulating and implementing recommendations for strategic direction of microcomputers, multi-users and LANs within the company.
