Call for Developer Competition Judges

CALL FOR JUDGES The organizers of the CHICAGO - RAD Developers Competition which will be held at DCI's Database and Client/Server World, Navy Pier, Chicago, December 10-12, 1996 are looking for judges for the competition. This Developers Competition is jointly sponsored by DCI and Droege Computing Services. It is a part of a series of competitions leading up to the 1997 Developers Competition to be held in Durham, North Carolina in October. A judge should be a software developer, author, computer manager, or MIS department head with an understanding of database development work. You will not be judging computer code, but will be using our judge's scoring sheet and script. You must meet the following minimum criteria: - Knowledge of basic relational database concepts. - Familiarity with many (10+) different software products. - No bias toward any particular OS (Mac, DOS, Windows, OS/2). Judges must attend an orientation and training dinner, Tuesday, December 10, 1996 at 7:30 pm. Judging will take place Wednesday morning December 11, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
