Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I have a situtation where a client/server (PowerBuilder/Informix) is hanging.
When I do an onstat -u or -g sesid, the first flag position is a "Y". I looked
it up in the Admin manual, but all it says is "waiting on condition." Can
someone please explain to me what this means? What type of "condition" is it
waiting on? This problem seems to be somewhat sporadic in nature but appears to
be happening when the client program calls a stored procedure on our server. Is
it related to that and if so, how and what can be done to remedy it?
