Due to the lack of tuning information we set minservers to 40 (= disks) and maxservers to 160 (= 4 * disks) and also increased the max number of REQUESTS to 8192, but that was simple intuition. The IBM recommendation seems to be too high. It would be nice to have a command that displays actual use of the KAIO kernel threads in AIX. Andreas Zeugswetter
