Informix 9.3 on an AIX 4.3.3ml10

Hi, a colleague is having some problem during the installation of Informix 9.3 on an AIX 4.3.3 box. The error code is the next Installing directory . Installing directory aaodir Installing directory bin etc/install: etc/brand: 0403-006 Execute permission denied. Installation of Informix Dynamic Server failed. He's using the install present in the IIF.cpi after the cpio command. The install on the CD displays the same error plus an invalid license and/or key message. The key and the serial have been used to install another identical system, and it works. Any suggestions? I appreciate any help...
