But, I think you may need 7.12 to run under 3.2.5 I am running 7.12 under 3.2.5 and there are some kernel parameters that need to be tuned before the engine will come up with a shared memory connection. (onipcshm) Check your /usr/informix/releas/ONLINE_7.1 for more details on these tuneables. One note, you have to actually change your mtune and stune files to make some of the kerenl changes. Using scoadmin will restrict what tuneables you can change, especiallay SEMMNS. Good luck, Jorge :-)
