Today must be my day for nit-picking...
The logs that contain *current* transaction data can be found by running onstat -x
and looking in the "log begin" column. (I'm sure there's an equivalent SMI query,
but don't know it off the top of my head.) It's true that you cannot drop the log
containing the last checkpoint, or any log after it, because of recovery, but even
if you use onmode -c to force a checkpoint in the current log, you will still be
unable to drop any logs between the earliest one in the "log begin" column and the
current one, because they are needed for rollback.
