Data Transfer

Hi all, Any quick tips about how to tune a 7.31 database on HP 11.11 to transfer 300 Gig of data? There will be concurrent HPL unloads and dbunloads going on at the same time. I an uping the CPU VPS to the max on the server. Should I increase buffer space or leave the memory for the operating system? I'm looking up an old presenation on how to tune a database for data transfers as we speak, but any advice would be great. Also advice on how to tune an 11.5 engine to best load and rebuild indexes. I know I saw suggestions that included one tuning for the load, a the a bounce of the server to accelerate the index builds. Thanks!
