Thomas How about running the preprocessor to convert the .ec to .c and then run cflow, cxref, etc? You can do this with esqlc -keep option (I think). William, So far I have been unable to run cflow, cxref, or ctags agianst an .ec file. For example with cflow, if I attempt it I recieve the message" "cflow: file with unknown suffix ignored: filename". If I copy the .ec file to a .c file and then run cflow, it chokes on the $ character, and the keywords sqlca, sqlerrd, SQLNOTFOUND, ROLLBACK, COMMIT, CLOSE, DATABASE, SET, CLOSE, etc.. I am running version 4.0 of Sun's CC on Solaris 2.6 if that makes any difference. From looking at Sun's website I notice that cflow, ctags, and cxref are now unbundled. Are you using a different version or is there an additional option I should be passing it? To be honest I don't have any documentation for it. Any suggestions? Anything would be greatly appreciated. You can run ctags, cxref, and so forth on the *.ec files, too; or perhaps I'm misunderstanding your question. -- William Harris william@carsinfo.com _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
