Hi, anyone with installation success with a new instance IDS 12.10FC4 on RHEL7/CentOS7 (x86_64) especially on raw devices? Errors in my case are: "Cannot open primary chunk". Chunks are logical volumes (lvm2) with ownership informix.informix and access permission "660". My production system runs fine with IDS 11.70 on CentOS 6.5 (chunks also on logical volumes). Bye

http://www.smooth1.co.uk/installs/dbinstalls.html Database product installation FAQ has been updated for Informix 12.10.FC4 on Centos 7. - i had to patch the vmware tools installation - package compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-71.el7.x86_64 replaced compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-69.el6.i686 - ncurses-libs are not needed on CentOS 7 When will the 12.10.FC4W1 release be available for evaluation download?
