My colleague wasted weeks trying to develop a tabbed windows program using the wif. We eventually gave up and decided that the 4 windows we needed to include for one particular table would be done as independent applications. We in fact synchronise the 3 subsiduary windows to the main window by passing the key fields into the winfocusin event. We use optimistic locking but have had to do a bit of coding to control the staledata event in a user friendly manner. -- Mike Ripley
