This is a good suggestion, but then that means I need to have all of my customers do the same for their Informix libs as well. While this is probably not a big issue, its not something we should need to do. I don't know what this does as far as support from Informix is concerned. We are still working our way through the support folks to find out what their ideas may be as this appears ( to me anyway ) to be an Informix problem in how the libs were built. I'm still looking for that magic bullet ( aka link option ), tho I doubt it exists. I'll let you know what we find. in the mean time the above will certainly work as long as your customers do the same thing, at least for any libs you explicitly specify on the link line.
