Assuming you already know about tbcheck's options for finding the allocated and actual pages used... You might follow the calculations for database sizing in the doc set: Informix Guide to SQL Tutorial v4.10 July 1991 pg 10-12 (script available at www.iiug.org, the International User Group) and that will give you another number. You may have difficulty reconciling actual usage with predicted usage due to partially used pages and such. This delta increases over time with the addition and deletion of rows. Why are you interested in this number? __________________________________________________________________ | Clem Akins Standard Disclaimers Apply | |Reynolds Metals Co, Alloys Plant "Climb High, Cave Deep!" | | Muscle Shoals, Alabama USA cwakins@leia.alloys.rmc.com | |________________________________________________________________|
