I'm
trying to move a chunk from one dbspace to another, but when I go to drop the
chunk, it give the error message:
onspaces -d maxdbs -p /dev/online/chunk13 -o 0WARNING: Dropping a chunk.
Do you really want to continue? (y/n)y
Chunk not dropped.
ISAM error: Chunk not empty
The contents of the chunk is as follows:
Chunk: 13 /dev/online/chunk13 Size Used Free
1024000 203 1023797
Disk usage for Chunk 13 Start Length
------------------------------------------- --------- ---------
OTHER RESERVED Pages 0 2
CHUNK FREE LIST PAGE 2 1
FREE 3 813125
TBLSPACE TBLSPACE 813128 200
FREE 813328 210672
I'm assuming the TBLSPACE is causing the problem, but what can i do about it???
Thanks in advance.
Ady
Dear Adrian,
The TBLSPACE TBLSPACE is an internal table used to track all tables in a
dbspace.
Unfortunately there are no means to control the location of extents of that
tablespace.
The only way to get rid of the chunk is to move all tables of the dbspace
the chunk belongs to
to a different dbspace, then drop the whole dbspace.
Regards
Tilman
