OWS install problem

Dear Informix-List people, I am attempting to install Online Workstation 7.22 TC1 on a pentium workstation. This workstation is leveraged for many other tasks, and the hard drive is partitioned into 3 logical drives. MS windows 3.11 is on drive C, and NT 4.0 running Personal Oracle (FAT file system) is on drive D. Attempting to keep things clean and simple, in preparation for installing Inforix OWS, I have done a minimal install of NT 4.0 workstation on drive E and formatted this partition with NTFS. I boot the workstation into the pristine NT OS on drive E, and run the Informix OWS setup. I attempt to point the installation at the NTFS drive (drive E) using the 'Diskspace' button. There is plenty of available disk space, and I am logged on to NT as administrator. When I proceed with the install, it *finishes* almost instantaneously, with NO ERROR MESSAGES. I end up with nothing but an 'Informix' directory containing a read me file on my C drive. This drive is FAT, not NTFS. Informix tech support says there must be something wrong with the configuration of my computer. Without an error message during the install, where am I supposed to start looking? Is there anybody familiar with Online Workstation that can help point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. Ron Bedig rbedig@mindspring.com
