OS/390

We have recently installed OS/390 on our IBM mainframe. Because of all of the UNIX running around in the Open Edition portion of OS/390 the question has come up can Informix run under OS/390? Or will Informix ever be able to run under OS/390? Has anyone tried it just for the fun of it to see if they could hack around and make it work? Just curious.
