What happens to us is that after the user enters the corrected login id the app seems to freeze. If we wait 2-4 minutes then the connection happens. Almost like it has to wait for something to timeout first (??). Informix support believes this is a Powerbuilder problem, because the problem does not occur outside of Powerbuilder apps (the Informix ilogin utility works fine) . It doesn't seem to be a problem with our application code because the problem also occurs from within the PB database painter. We haven't found a solution yet - any help would be appreciated.
