Replication issues...

I am trying to configure the replication process using the replication manager from Windows NT. First it asks for the rephosts file which I believe is the same as sqlhosts file(with the group entry). Once I select the server, the message "The initialization of CDR on the server failed" what could be the problem and also when I configure a new replicate I cannot see any servers in the list box. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Noel.Y
