Did tbstat -l show that you were : making progress on your logfiles? Yep, the logfiles were moving right along. I have 1.2 gig of logs to be able to handle some monster transactions, so I wasn't really worrying about the long transaction.....I just wondered why OnLine ***THOUGHT*** I was in a long transaction when I was still 30% below my low water mark. BTW, the rollback finished within 3 minutes of the estimate I had made by extrapolating tbstat -t data. Still, it was an 11 1/2 hour fast recovery.
