Madison, A except clause in a select * from table would be great. This would be very helpful for cases when you have a bunch of columns in a table and you need either to select or unload almost all of them, excluding 1, 2 or more columns. I've heard similar requests for the column list of INSERT as well. Many shops discourage the use of '*' alltogether on the other hand.
