Yes, Informix doesn't seem to be pushing New Era very vigorously on their web page. They still only have information on Version 2.0, and they don't even mention that it is available for Unix machines. But what I'd like to hear is some concrete examples of why New Era is superior or inferior to other products. Can you (or anybody else) tell me why Delphi (or any other product) "runs circles around" New Era? The user interface seems OK to me, not all that terrible. How are other products better? Over a year ago, when I was evaluating, New Era seemed like the more object oriented and extensible product, compared to Powerbuilder (Delphi wasn't really a player then). Is this still the case? Thanks.
