I have tried your program on SCO 3.2.4.2, OnLine 7.10.UC1, c4gl 6.00.UE3 and on SCO 5, OnLine 7.12.UC1, c4gl 6.03.UC1 Both still stops at the select with the appropriate error messages. Is there any version that will run this program through without stoping. If there is we are in serious trouble. This kind of error has helped several times when I have done something wrong in SQL. If Informix plans to remove this functionallity as you describe we must in my opinion try to stop them. I can't imagine why they would want to do it?
