Hal, oncockpit is an X application, a very very interesting app for monitor and automatic error-warning for informix 7.1. There is a whole (small) informix book that comes with the distribution about oncockpit. It will not run straight "out of the box" you need to setup your environment variables at least and then again I had to do some tweaking to make it work.
