Re: NewEra programers

Just for amusement's sake, I found some developer's comments re New Era. Admittedly it's V1 & 2. "It was so good I divorced my wife." "I like to go on long and exotic holidays between compilations" "I found the debugger particularly useful for rebooting my PC" "I still don't believe the time it takes to do the simplest tasks" "The development team had to take a week of due to shock" "I found the number of bug fixes included in version 2 very reassuring..." "There's no much hidden functionality.. some event code can call itself with no input from the programmer - real RAD in action..." "Informix have had no problem solving any issue we've thrown at them..with half an hour they've been on the phone with an unsupported solution..." ***** NE3 doesn't seem so bad in comparison but at the end of the day, it really takes much more time to develop in New Era than say VB (with VC when necessary). Just my opinion. peisa_gandia@vlc.servicom.es wrote in message <73bfbe$3n3@wendy.mad.servicom.es>... >Hi, > I would like to know if there is anybody programming on Informix-NewEra >all over the world.
