Look at the "LOB Locator DataBlade Module User's Guide" and that should tell you what you want to know. It's the LLD Blade. To quote the manual: "This guide explains how to use the LOB Locator, a foundation DataBlade module that can be used by other modules that create or store large-object data. The LOB Locator enables you to create a single consistent interface to large objects and extends the concept of large objects to include data stored outside the database." Some of the various blades (like excalibur text, excalibur image..) (optionally) use LLD to store their blobs. In most cases you can store them in or out of the DB. > Another thing we're looking for is some way for > data to be visible over a pseudo-nfs mount point.. > wierd eh!? Yea... The blob data?
