Hi, Informix database is taking 15 minutes to get connected after changing the password and this behaviour is consistent. It looks like the new password is not getting updated in the DB. The setup is a two node setup. I would like to know if this behaviour from the informix Db side ? Is there any parameter that specifies the password to be synched ? Looking forward to your inputs regarding this issue. Thanks, Siddharth Ravindran
Hi Siddharth, Not sure which version of Informix you're using but for v11.7 and later, you may want to look at the NS_CACHE configuration parameter. NS_CACHE host=900,service=900,user=900,group=900 Regards, Edcel Sent from my iPhone > On Jan 5, 2016, at 4:32 PM, SIDDHARTH RAVINDRAN <siravind@cisco.com> wrote: > > Hi, > > Informix database is taking 15 minutes to get connected after changing the > password and this behaviour is consistent. It looks like the new password is > not getting updated in the DB.
