Hi to all, I have the ids server with two names (a servername and an alias). Each one.is. reachable via a different network. I want to know if there is a way to stop the the alias dynamically without stopping the whole server . I use informix 11.50 ultimate edition on aix 5.3 Thanks in advance
depending on your fixpack yes... the functionality was introduced in one of
the fixpacks... FC5 or FC6, but I may be wrong... In FC7 it's there for
sure.
onmode -P <start|stop|restart> SERVERNAMEI think there was a problem with "restart". Please test in non-prod
environment.
