Re: Criticism of IFMX Buyout Postings -Reply

Hi Bill I can't agree with you on this. I realise that flaming people is something of a tradition on the net, (I wasn't born yesterday), but don't you think it's about time we grew out of such behaviour? I have always been perplexed by the fact that people are prepared to e-mail others in a way that they would never consider for a moment doing in person. It can't be passed off as harmless fun when it goes to these kinds of lengths. This is a professional forum and in my view this kind of behaviour demeans the people concerned and adds absolutely no value. If the purpose was to scare the poster away, then the exact opposite has occurred. Good move by those concerned, not. You would know that if you were a regular here - or at least read his posting carefully. There have been some blatant fibs being told here and I applaud anyone who calls someone's bluff AND backs it up with proof such as Mike has given. It's not ok to try and manipulate people by telling lies. Let me ask you if you pound hours of research into every transaction you make(not just stocks I mean everything here)? Sometimes we need to just act on trust. And if we have enough people out there scamming us and people like you saying "Leave em alone" where the heck will society be? Summary: It's not ok to TRY and manipulate people through lies. It's not ok to leave em alone. I'm not flaming everyone who has posted to this thread; only the liars. My 2 cents, Bill } } Give it a rest Al. Who are you to tell people what rumors or related info } they can post on this NG. If people don't have the sense to synthesize the } myriad of postings that's their problem. And as for reporting rumors to } the SEC, ooooooh you scare me and I'm sure old Bill is scared. With all the } scam artists out there, do you honestly think that the SEC would waste its } time pursuing every rumor posted on every investment news group. Just the } hype and fraud propogated by "respected" Wall Street firms will keep them } busy for quite some time.
