help: oninit -i -> error

Hi ! Recently our disk holding the informix raw partition failed :( We are using online dynamic server 7.1 on solaris 2.5. Currently I am trying to setup informix to use another raw partition (partition 7 on another disk, same host). I changed my onconfig and tried to initialize by (being root) oninit -i onconfig looks like: ROOTPATH /scratch/root_chunk ROOTOFFSET 0 # Offset of root dbspace into device ROOTSIZE 20000 # Size of root dbspace (Kbytes) [...] However, oninit results in the following error (log msg): 20:32:12 DR: DRAUTO is 0 (Off) 20:32:13 The chunk '/scratch/root_chunk' must have owner-ID andgroup-ID set to informix. 20:32:13 INFORMIX-OnLine Stopped. 20:32:14 mt_shm_remove: WARNING: may not have removed all/correctsegments /scratch/root_chunk is a symbolic link to the raw partition. This link was created by user informix as well as group informix. I made sure that the raw partition is owned by informix/informix and mode 660. I even tried not to use a raw partition but a unix file, the same problems arise. Any help is very much appreciated... Chris
