Onpload - Dbexport

Hello Dear Friends Forum
I wish you a very happy 2013, and especially Art Kagel, who answered all my
questions and I forget to thank.
Now I need to ask them if they can build a database generated with the command
dbexport onpload. And if possible, how to do.
My Informix is 7.31 TD6, running on Windows
Very, very thanks for your attention.

Hi Gustavo,
happy new year to you and all others.
dbexport is used to export a whole database in text format including the
sql-script to create and fill the database. The counterpart is dbimport.
dbimport is used to create and import the database. The Informix
database server where you import can be of a different version.
onpload is the High Performance Loader (HPL). It is nothing to create a
database. Can be useful to export and import single tables in existing
databases esp. if the tables are big.
Another tool is onunload and it's counterpart onload. The export and
import of data is done binary formatted. Therefore the version of the
informix database server must be the same.
HTH,
Reinhard
