Ralph Kimball (formerly of Red Brick) wrote a very good practical-type book called the Data Warehouse Toolkit that gives lots of real life examples. Basically, if you read these two books you'll have a very good understanding of the theory and practice of building and maintaining a data warehouse. Steve Kain ------------------ skain@peapod.com
