7.12 SGI sqlhosts problem?

I am installing 7.12 for SGI Irix. I run oninit -i and get: DBSERVERNAME xxx not in sqlhosts file or sqlhosts file damaged. This file works fine with 7.1. I have checked and re-installed the product 3 times, ensuring the INFORMIXDIR env var is set etc. I have check the permission on sqlhosts. oninit seems to run for a while before it gets around to looking at/for sqlhosts then produces the message. To prove this I moved sqlhosts to another file re-ran and still got the same message! Any ideas? -- Adrian Blakey Big Book Inc.
