INFORMIX AND BAAN=20 ACHIEVE RECORD BENCHMARK RESULTS 1,510 Users Is Highest Baan Result MENLO PARK, Calif. The benchmark was= =20 run on a UNIX=AE-system based 4-way HP9000 Model K420 with 2 GB main=20 memory. Informix was the only database vendor able to take advantage of=20 Baan's optimized client/server mode which offloads Baan application and=20 driver processes from the server to the client. The combination of HP-UX=20 10.10, TRITON 3.1a, and INFORMIX-OnLine Dynamic Server 7.2 creates a=20 superior environment for customers seeking high performance and=20 scalability.
