In the 7.20 Informix Guide to SQL: Syntax, there is a "DB" and a "+" mark, the "+" indicating an Informix extension, and "DB" indicating only valid in DB-Access. It so happens that I4GL and NewEra also provide these extensions, but they do not use a simple ESQL/C statement to do it -- they call onto a library function. You won't be able to use those statements in ESQL/C. Nor will you be able to prepare them. >My other Sql statements work fine. Well, that simply means you haven't tried LOAD, OUTPUT, INFO, CHECK TABLE, REPAIR TABLE, etc. They don't work either. Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h>
