Question: Would this Warning Slow Instance/Server

Can this message actually be an advance cause, of any slowness in the Informix instance and/or server performance? Should we actually work to make sure our buffer pool size is large enough to avoid this message, in the future. Ernest: Most likely some large report that caused a large sequential scan triggered this. It may indeed be that your buffer pool is too small for this particular query. If it is happening frequently definitely address the issue. If it was a one time thing, only say once a month it's probably OK to ignore it. But watch your BTR/BTR3 values they will tell you what's happening with your buffer pools. Art Art S.
