Informix-Net and Informix-Star question

Dear Informixer, I am using I-Net for Windows ver. 5.01 to connect my SQL Windows programs to the host machine (HP9000-835 and T500) running HP-UX ver 9.04 and Informix 5.02UC1 and the same version of I-Star. The problem is when a wrong username/password combination is given then for somehow I got a duplicate sqlexecd (I-Star) daemon running on my HP making any connection to it impossible. It will allow connectivity (providing the username/password is correct) again right after I kill the newest sqlexecd daemon process. What triggers the second sqlexecd daemon to run? How can I prevent this from happening? Is it a bug? Thanks Taras_Siregar@fmi.com
