We currently have IDS 7.13 (Yes we will be upgrading to 7.3 real soon now!!) and IWG (Workgroup) 7.20 both running on HP-UX 10.20 without any worries at all. So it is indeed possible, although I hasten to add that we only develop IDS applications on the Unix box. The Workgroup Server is only used by a VB ODBC application. I would suspect in your case that if you carry out the install in "Oldest to Newest Order", as mentioned in the install guides, you should not have any problems. Regards. It sounds weird, but we may have such a need. I know Informix has one lib link in /usr/lib pointing to $INFORMIXDIR/lib, but with $LIBPATH I think it is possible to avoid the installation problem. Anyone has tried that? -- Chris Lo mailto: chris.lo@prudential.com.hk System Administrator/Informix DBA mailto: cklo@cklo.hk.super.net The Prudential Assurance (HK) Co.
