For the second: I did not see the original posting, but I accomplished hidden entry on a DOS system by simply specifying COLOR=BLUE for the password field within my login form, so that the color used matched the background color specified by DBCOLOR, in my case BLUE. I have not tried this technique under UNIX, but do not see why it shouldn't work. If someone wants a copy of this rather straight-forward code, mail me direct and I will send the code in reply.
