You're not overly clear on config details as the other correspondent on this thread pointed out. Assuming you're running on some flavour of UNIX, you could try our ODBC driver: SCO SQL-Retriever. Take a look at http://www.sco.com/vision/products/sqlretriever/ for more information and a downloadable eval. It will provide everything you need to make an ODBC connection to Informix 7 (SE/OnLine) from most ODBC-compliant Windows apps, doesn't need the database vendors networking software (e.g. INet/SQLNet), and is probably cheaper than the datatabase vendor's ODBC solution.
