There are separate version numbers for the various Informix products, one for SE, one for SQL, one for OnLine, etc. Some of the manuals were updated and others were not for each new release. I write the version number of the product to which the manual applies on the spine of the manual. I found multiple references to each of these under "Union" and "Join" in the indexs of the following manuals: SQL Tutorial SQL Reference SQL Syntax Guide 4GL Reference Manual before I got tired of looking! I would say RTFM but you must know R the FM first. :) > Thanks to everyone who helped on the PROMPT query..... > > --Kate __________________________________________________________________ | Clem Akins Standard Disclaimers Apply | |Reynolds Metals Co, Alloys Plant "Climb High, Cave Deep!" | | Muscle Shoals, Alabama USA cwakins@leia.alloys.rmc.com | |________________________________________________________________|
